One of Christ’s clear commands to His church is to care for those in need. Scripture reminds us,
“For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.’” — Deuteronomy 15:11 (NASB)
In a world where poverty persists and access to basic necessities like food is often limited, Harvest Church of God is committed to being a source of hope and help. Hunger affects families of all ages and backgrounds, and its impact reaches far beyond the dinner table—it touches health, education, and dignity.
Through God’s provision and our partnership with the Maryland Food Bank, Harvest is honored to serve as a distribution site for those facing food insecurity in our community. This ministry is a tangible expression of Christ’s love and a reflection of our calling to open our hands and hearts.
If you or someone you know is in need of food assistance, our Food Pantry is open on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All are welcome.
Together, we believe that meeting physical needs opens the door to spiritual renewal—and that every meal shared is a seed of hope planted in Jesus’ name.
