FOUNDATIONS OF MINISTRY

What We Build On, What We Live By

At Harvest Church of God, our ministry is anchored in seven foundational truths that shape our culture, guide our mission, and reflect our identity as a Spirit-led, ethnically diverse, and family-centered church. These foundations are more than values—they are the heartbeat of everything we do.

📖 1. Biblical Truth

We proclaim the uncompromising truth of God’s Word as the foundation for life, doctrine, and discipleship.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

🔥 2. Spirit-Led Worship

We pursue the presence of God through passionate worship, prayer, and obedience to the Holy Spirit.

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” — Romans 8:14

🌍 3. Outreach & Evangelism

We reach people from every background with the gospel of Jesus Christ—locally and globally.

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” — Mark 16:15

👨‍👩‍👧 4. Family Restoration

We minister to the whole family—strengthening marriages, guiding children, and supporting parents with grace and truth.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” — Acts 16:31

🤝 5. Ethnic Diversity & Unity

We celebrate the beauty of God’s diverse creation and welcome people from every walk of life into one body of faith.

“There is neither Jew nor Gentile… for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” — Galatians 3:28 “A great multitude… from every nation, tribe, people and language…” — Revelation 7:9

🌱 6. Discipleship & Spiritual Growth

We equip believers to grow in faith, character, and calling—through teaching, mentoring, and ministry involvement.

“Go and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” — Matthew 28:19–20

🏙️ 7. Community Impact

We serve our city with compassion, integrity, and generosity—meeting practical needs and shining the light of Christ.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
