Why we Give

Giving is an act of worship that reflects our gratitude, trust and partnership in God’s work. Scripture encourages believers to give willingly, generously and cheerfully—not from pressure, but from a heart of love and obedience.

At Harvest, every gift helps us share the gospel, care for our community, support missions and provide opportunities for people to grow in faith, family and purpose.

⁶ The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. ⁷ Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
