at HarvestServices Sunday - 11AM Worship Service, Wednesday - Harvest Corporate Prayer - 9:30AM
At Harvest, we believe that the local church plays a vital role in the global mission of the gospel. Through prayer, financial support, and faithful partnership, we help send those called to teach, serve, and share the good news—both near and far.
“You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God… We ought therefore to show hospitality to such people so that we may work together for the truth.” — 3 John 6–8
Currently, Harvest supports three Church of God World Missions projects, extending our reach to communities across the globe. These efforts are made possible by the generosity and commitment of our church family.
If you have a missionary project you feel called to support, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact our office with the details, and let’s explore how we can partner together for the sake of the gospel. If you wish to give in support of these projects or any missionary please use our online giving platform and select missions in your gift.
Love Our City Offering
The Love Our City Offering is Harvest Church of God’s dedicated local missions fund, created to help us serve the people right here in our own community. This offering fuels practical, compassionate ministry—allowing us to step into the lives of those who are lost, hurting, struggling, or in need of assistance with the hope of Jesus and the love of His church.
These funds make it possible for Harvest to:
Meet real needs through benevolence, care, and support for individuals and families facing hardship.
Reach our neighbors with the gospel through intentional, Spirit‑led outreach.
Host community events that open doors for connection, ministry, and transformation.
Equip our church to be present, visible, and active in serving Reisterstown and the surrounding area.
The Love Our City Offering is more than a fund—it’s a commitment. It is our church saying, “We will not overlook the mission field outside our own doors.” Every gift strengthens our ability to love our neighbors, serve with compassion, and bring hope to our city in tangible, meaningful ways.

Benson and Cathy Vaughan,
Educators to the Seminary of South America - Project #: 065-0138
Benson and Cathy are missionary-educators at the Seminary of South America (SEMISUD) in Quito, Ecuador. Their primary focus has always been teaching at the Seminary, but they are also involved in training ministers, developing leaders, strengthening local churches through outreach and workshops, and when possible, humanitarian aid.
Benson, a third-generation ordained bishop in the Church of God, formerly worked as a public school teacher in Maryland, and Cathy was a medical technologist who worked in hospitals in Maryland and Tennessee. They developed a love for international students while they both attended and graduated from Pentecostal Theological Seminary.
It was during their seminary days that they realized God was calling them into missions, and they gladly accepted the call into that ministry. During the past 22 years, they have served as missionary educators in over 30 countries on five continents.

CIty of Refuge - Project # 102-9572
Our Mission: City of Refuge Baltimore seeks to partner with individuals and families in crisis to clear a pathway out of poverty and into a thriving community.
With 15 years of experience meeting people’s most basic needs of food, clothing, and resources; in 2017 we shifted into a partnership with families in a more deep way. City of Refuge Baltimore is a growing leader in the business of social transformation. We are located in the middle of Brooklyn and Curtis Bay on the south side of Baltimore city, one of the most struggling neighborhoods where nearly 35% of the residents live below the Federal Poverty Level.
We believe the people of Brooklyn and Curtis Bay desire and deserve to live abundantly with access to vital resources, networks, and opportunities. In light of this, City of Refuge Baltimore seeks to partner with individuals and families in crisis to clear a pathway out of poverty and into a thriving community.

Phebe Grey Memorial Orphanage - Project # 101-9004
Phebe Grey Memorial Orphanage provides a loving Christian home for over 100 at-risk children. The children are educated on campus at Christian Martyrs School while their spiritual needs are met at Phebe Grey Church of God where Maxwell Thompson serves as pastor. The school and the church are also open to the community. Joining with Serving Orphans World Wide, we are providing university or technical training to young adults raised at PGMO.
The orphanage was established during Liberia’s civil war to care for war orphans. Listed as the world’s 8th poorest country, the nation is still struggling financially after years of war and medical crises. Malaria and typhoid continue to be challenges. Wide spread poverty leaves many children vulnerable and in need of the international support of the Christian community.
After serving in Brazil for 12 years, Maxwell and Debbie Thompson followed the call of God to Liberia where they have served for over eleven years. As chief administrator of Phebe Grey Memorial Orphanage and pastor of the Phebe Grey Church of God, Maxwell Thompson and his wife Debbie (a Registered Nurse) have recently expanded the ministry by opening a new home which serves children from birth through six years old. Through this, we have been able to save the lives of babies who were literally starving. What a joy it is to see these children now thriving!

Smokey Mountian Children's Home - Project # 715-0111
We provide exceptional care for at-risk children and teens through our Adoption, Foster Care and Residential programs. Through family counseling, individual therapy, educational opportunities and structured group living, the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home provides a continuum of care tailored for each child's need. Creating a safe and supportive environment allows each child to discover their talents and build on their strengths. This is accomplished by the excellent care of a trained staff and provides each child the opportunity to overcome the circumstances of their past, while exploring a world of opportunity for their future.
Smoky Mountain Children’s Home is a private, faith based, non-profit, multi-service agency that provides care, love, and healing to children and youth who have no one else to advocate for or care for them. This mission is mandated by the Word of God in James 1:27 (NLT), “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.” A continuum of quality programs is offered to meet the unique needs of children of different ages, capacities, races and creeds, as well as their families.

Church of God 365 Journey - Project # 102-0365
The 365 Journey is our response to the last, the least, and the lost. To date the world’s total population is more than 7 billion people. Nearly half of those have never heard the name of Jesus. Most of these people reside in the 10/40 window.
Through the 365 Journey, we will advance the Kingdom of God by focusing on three key elements: the physical, material, and spiritual needs of humanity. We will meet physical needs by providing medical care and nutritious food and clean water. We will meet material needs such as shelter, clothing, and shoes. We will meet spiritual needs by telling the salvation story, discipling those we win, and planting churches globally.
We ask that you journey with us through two calls to action. First, pray. Pray for our efforts among the last, the least, and the lost. Second, give. As you partner with Church of God World Missions, please remember that 100% of your gift reaches the mission field.

Church of God 365, Water - Project # 102-0365-001
Of all the non-spiritual needs in humanity globally, the number one need is for clean, sanitary, safe drinking water. Every day, 6,000 children die from water-borne illnesses. If they had access to clean water, many of them would survive. If we meet the needs of lost humanity, they will listen to the Gospel.
Jesus our Lord began a conversation with the Samaritan woman at a well and brought the Good News to her in the context of water. By partnering with us to provide clean water, you are helping to make the difference one cup at a time.
