One of the commands that Christ gives His church is to help those in need. Deuteronomy 15:11 (NASB) tells us, “For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.’
One of the greatest needs in our society is poverty. One of the basic elements needed for life is food and because of the lack of means due to many factors, families go without. This lack of nutrition has detrimental consequences for all ages. God has provided a way for Harvest Church of God to help in supplying this need in our community.
If you are in need of food, our Food Pantry is open the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9:00AM to 1:00PM.
